San Diego

Sea World

Ruby was most excited to see the dolphins. We got to see the day show and the night show. The night show involved fire and was really cool!

Joe was most excited to see Shamu or as Joe would say Sham-moo-ee. Only Joe and me were sitting up at the very top of the stands and everyone else had seats down by the tank. This was because Joe didn't want to get his map wet. The Sea World map was EXTREMELY important to Joe.

Clara was most excited about everything including the flower planters. She also really liked the pet animal show that had dogs, cats, pigs, ducks and lots more. She laughed and laughed.
Sea World has the best strollers to rent. The San Diego Zoo not so much.
We have plenty of picture with children and animals but this is my favorite. I didn't take it but I would bet my life Joe was swinging back in preparation to catch that bird (and if Matt was in the room I would ask him what kind of bird that is)
Waiting a ridiculous amount of time for a very short ride.
Joe was even brave enough to wait an even more ridiculous amount of time to go on a big persons ride. He looks a little nervous but he had fun. Really.
Thank You Grandpa and Grandma we had lots and lots and lots of FUN!

San Diego Zoo

Joe's preparation for going to the zoo. Clara's hat-check, Sea World shark grabber thing-check, extra sandals-check, small sea animal toys in a box-check. All set to go!

We learned that Ruby STRONGLY dislikes tram rides. Or at least she did on this particular day and this particular tram ride.
Plenty more pictures with children and animals but this is my favorite. They all like animals but Joe and Clara seems to love them. Especially when they can touch and feed them.
Lots of animal statues to climb on. The poor hippos head got cut off in this pic. Ruby got a really good picture of the live hippo with her camera.

A stop at the beach.
Ruby got a little wet.Sweetness!

Tide Pools
My kids could of "stayed here all day for 10 days" and still not get enough or something along those lines is what Joe said to me more then once.

We found lots of little creatures mainly little crabs and we even saw a seal out in the water.
Clara and her "Kerry". She started calling my dad by his first name on this trip.

LIFE IS GOOD!

Looks like such a fun trip! My family could also spend days at the tide pools.

Glad you had fun. Thanks for sharing the pics.
