We Gots Pun'kins!

Well, it's been crazy busy around hear just like at everybody else house this time of year. It seems like the year always fly by so fast and then all of a sudden towards the end of September someone pushes the fast forward button! Yikes! But with all the craziness comes lots and lots of fun!

Joe had a really fun field trip for school. They went to a nursing home and sang songs to the grandpas and grandmas. It was so cute. I accidentally left my camera in the van and was going to go back out to get it but the doors were locked (they don't want any of those lovely elderly people to escape) so I don't have a picture. But it was adorable! They sang and then Mrs. Sheila told them to go and introduce them selves and shake hands. And Joe was one of the first to do it and he made sure he got to all of them and told them his name nice and loud. It was way cute. After that we went to a little farm/pumpkin patch. Lots for fun and running around and feeding animals but most importantly we found the "most hugest perfec punkin".

He found it! Look at it its huge!

He also found something to put his head in.

Clara found the perfect pumpkin too.

Ruby was feeling left out of the perfect pumpkin hunting so we went (four days later) to an off the road pumpkin patch by our house and she found her perfect pumpkin.

Actually, she couldn't find one she deemed perfect and it took her forever to find the non-perfect one that she had Matt cut the stem off of as soon as we got home. Ruby has high standards when it comes to pumpkins :)

We also had the Primary Program this last Sunday and it was so good. Joe said his part so well and sat pretty good up on the stand with the rest of the Sunbeams. We are not sure what kind of sign language he was using during the first verse of "I love to see the Temple" when everyone else was using ASL. And also though a few more song when nobody was doing any kind of signing. Ruby said her part wonderfully and also sang beautifully. She had been really excited about the Program all week and we did her hair all puffy and pretty for it. She had a new dress from Granma J. and Granma even came to see them. I totally meant to take a pic but forgot. Ruby really actually has a very pretty singing voice. She doesn't get this from me or my side of the fam so I am sure it must be Matt's fam. Her voice is kind of mature sounding and has a little quiver in it. Its cute. She loves music and singing and dancing too. That she does get from my side of the fam.

They got some chocolate in Primary that day and this is what Clara did to it. This picture is not the first or the last time she got into it. Halloween is going to be fun with little Miss Clara!

That's so Ruby with the pumpkin picking! You have to keep the stem on, it's the handle! Your kids are lucky. We got ours punkins at Home Depot!
They both did wonderful at the primary program! Love the picture of Clara!

I love that picture of Clara because that is exactly what Sadie would do.

Good work on the Pun'kin pickin. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

I agree, Ruby looked fabulous and did a great job Sunday. The sign language was wonderful. What a great meeting.

Could Clara's eyes be any prettier! She is so dang CUTE! The chocolate face just makes that face as cute as can be! Hey and atleast your kids got to pick their own pumpkins. I picked ours and Walmart and then we didn't even carve them. What a Year!
